Laad Bazaar

One Of The Oldest Markets In The City


Laad Bazaar situated close to Charminar, is one of the oldest markets in the city. The name ‘Laad’ comes from the lacquer used to make bangles. The market is famous for bangles, artificial jewelleries, precious stones, zari embroidered sarees and many more. It has more than 350 shops and around 150 workshops that manufacture varieties of bangles. The peak season is during Ramzan when the local people along with tourists visit the market.
