Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace Originally built in 1537 by a feudal lord called Kempe Gowda, it was rebuilt into a stone structure by Haider Ali and later on was completed by Tipu Sultan which served as his summer retreat. There is an art gallery in the fort which houses historical paintings, photos, and carvings. The 2-storey structure has wonderful wooden carvings and is under the Archaeological Survey of India.
